Q: How long do your candles burn?
Burn times vary depending on the size of the vessel, but, please refer to each product description for burn times on each vessel.
Q: Can I reuse the ceramic vessels?
Absolutely! Once your candle is finished, clean out the remaining wax, and the vessel can be repurposed as a teacup, bowl, or decorative piece.
To ensure the best performance and longevity of your candle, follow these care tips:
1. Trim the Wick:
Always trim the wick to about 5mm before each burn to prevent soot and uneven burning.
2. First Burn:
Let the wax melt all the way to the edge during the first burn to prevent tunneling.
3. Burn Time:
Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time to avoid overheating the vessel.
4. Safety First:
Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface and keep it away from drafts, children, and pets.
5. Extinguish Safely:
Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame rather than blowing it out to avoid splashing wax.
6. Reuse the Vessel:
Once the candle has burned down to about 1cm of wax, stop using it to avoid overheating the base. Clean out the remaining wax with warm soapy water and reuse the vessel however you like!
Our ceramic vessels are designed to be reused and cherished. Follow these steps to clean your vessel:
1. Stop Burning at the Right Time: Once the candle has about 1cm of wax remaining at the bottom, discontinue use to prevent overheating the vessel.
2. Remove Remaining Wax: Place the vessel in the freezer for a few hours. The wax will shrink and should pop out easily.
Alternatively, pour boiling water into the vessel. Only fill it half way as the wax will rise to the surface on its own. Let stand until water is cold and wax is on the surface. emove the wax and clean the jar.
3. Clean the Vessel: Wipe out any remaining wax or residue with a paper towel.
Wash the vessel with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive scrubbers that might damage the glaze.
4. Dry Thoroughly: Let the vessel air dry or use a soft cloth to dry it before reusing.
5. Repurpose Creatively: Use your cleaned vessel as a teacup, bowl, plant pot, or for storing small items like jewelry or crystals!
